Through immersive activities, Project Wet presents water education from a global perspective including the physical properties of water, how water moves through our environment; water use, availability, and management. The workshop will also explore water right here in our Valley. Teachers will get an up close and personal exploration of how water travels to our homes and businesses, where it originates, how it is stored, and the popular topic of how much we have? Teachers receive a curriculum book; are able to connect with other teachers interested in water education; speak to experts and receive training on water activities.
Participants can bring a lunch (Dining available onsite: https://www.springspreserve.org/visitor-information/divine-cafe.html) and should bring water. Water refill station available. Most of this workshop will be spent outside for sunscreen, a hat and comfortable shoes are suggested.
