Bruce & Owens Native Habitat Seed Collection

Please join us for a Maintenance Day at Bruce & Owens’ Native Habitat taking place on Saturday, May 13th from 9 AM to 11 AM. The habitat is located on 1300 E. Webb Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89030. Registered volunteers will receive a meeting spot map and event details a few days before the event. Volunteers can expect to collect seeds and remove weeds in the area. Please bring plenty of water to drink and sun protection for yourself.

We will provide all the tools and supplies required for the event including gloves and trash grabbers. All ages are welcome, minors without an adult guardian present will need to bring a signed waiver. Waivers will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.

Please monitor your own health, if you are experiencing any symptoms of an illness or don’t feel well, we ask that you reschedule your volunteer shift with us. If you are feeling well and symptom free, wear closed toed shoes, bring plenty of drinking water for yourself.

We continue to make the safety of all our volunteers and staff members the number one priority. Get Outdoors Nevada staff is up to date on all recommended Covid-19 vaccinations. We will continue to follow local health data and support the recommendations of the state and city municipalities for safety protocols and guidelines.
