Job Title: Weather Station Volunteer

Job Description:
One or more volunteers to help with weather stations located in Lovell Canyon and on the west side of the mountain near Wheeler Wash. The weather stations were recently constructed and are highly technical pieces of equipment that need to be checked at least twice per month in the summer and about once a month in the winter, maybe less. The work would basically involve the volunteer driving to the site over 4x4 roads, looking at the fencing and/or equipment at each site, and reporting back to the Forest Service on damage or any other out of the ordinary occurrences. Eventually additional work may include repairs and working with the data from the sites.
